I thought I would share what inspired me for a retro website I worked on and perhaps it could help inspire you.
On deciding my new site route I went through a whole range of different styles mainly focusing on interesting typography. If you know me at all you know I thoroughly enjoy typography and the Bauhaus! After playing about with many many mmaannyyyy fonts I noticed a typical pattern appearing in my work. It all looked very retro or vintage, so I began to research retro design in posters, art, fashion and of course websites. The websites seemed too much of a good list to not share with the world, so now I am.
Here you can see a selection of the retro web design’s that inspired me using a great range of nice icons, cool graphics and wonderful typography.
